Our Honeymoon

Our Kansas City experienced led us to take the bus from the Airport where we left the truck to the train station. We were 2 of the 4 white people that road the busses. One driver even asked us if we were 'sure' we had the right bus. 

We took the train from KC to LA. The only rain we saw all trip is pictured below. 

We then rented a car in LA, drive the coast for a few hours, and arrived at Sequoia National Park. We camped two nights.

We then drove to Las Vegas via Death Valley and flew back to KC. 

Wedding

Valerie and I got engaged October 12th 2013 and married April 26th, 2014. The first picture is from our rehearsal dinner. 

Back to Alaska

Val and I went back to Alaska to see Nome and visit Brevig at the biginning of August. We stopped in Seattle both ways to see family and friends. 

Duke TIP at Appalachian State Term 2

The second term it has rained hard about every day. However, I was still able to make it to the local big concert, camp along the Appalachian Trail in East Tennessee, do a bit of hiking/sightseeing, and get out in the mountains.
